Poor old Santa Claus. Sometimes he gets a terrible rap. People say he doesn’t represent Christmas well. Individuals say he doesn’t set a good example for Christians commemorating December 25. And people say–gasp!–that he doesn’t even really exist. Additionally, there are several folks out there who are trying to confuse just who Santa is. Is he really Saint Nicolas? Or perhaps is he some imposter, some large elf from the North Pole who would like to take credit for everything that Saint Nick has done and stands for.
Scary stuff, right? Well, in case you are getting as well annoyed by these anti-Santa suggestions, maybe you should quit reading this article article now. It only becomes worse the deeper you get into these anti-Santa theories.
Are you currently still along with us? Good, because to protect our picture of Santa Claus–our jolly aged man–we have to know why people are out to get him. Then, and only then, can we stop them from trashing the great title in the man within the red-colored suit.
First off, these anti-Santa people admit that Santa has some really great qualities. He’s constantly cheerful and happy. He constantly has fun video games and presents to give, and then he is definitely generous (unless you were naughty, obviously). But is in which these anti–Santa individuals quit with the compliments. The thing is, they claim that Santa, with his goodness, is only for youngsters and not for adults.
Worse yet, they say that Santa is simply about nowadays to earn money for giant Eastern buying syndicates. He’s only right here to make other individuals a dollar. All of that stuff about Santa giving presents, and distributing great cheer, is actually all made up, they claim. The real purpose of the man with the white-colored beard and the red-colored cover is to get us to take, to invest money, to give presents just like Santa does.
This can be horrible anti–Santa stuff, right? Well, believe it or not, it becomes worse. These anti-Santa folks carry on to express that Santa can’t be believed while he flies around the world in a sleigh. Clearly, the anti–Santa people do not have faith in Rudolph. And talking about faith, the anti–Santa folks also say that Santa requires away from the genuine reason for Xmas, which is to commemorate Infant Jesus.
The truth is, these anti–Santa people repeat the genuine Saint Nicolas is superior to Santa. He was a real individual, they say, who believed and practiced goodwill to any or all men, women, and children. He was kind and nice, and was a devout believer in Infant Jesus. And Santa isn’t genuine, they claim?
Had sufficient? Me too. Here’s how you can know that these particular anti–Santa folks are way away base. What these anti-Santa people don’t comprehend is, Santa and Saint Nick are one and the exact same. So that you can’t say that Saint Nick is preferable to Santa, or vooish Santa is copying Saint Nick’s design. Saint Nick is Santa! With each other, as one, they signify all of that is good about Christmas, and all of that we should practice every day, not just December 25.
So, please, anti–Santa bashers, please keep the large man alone. He’s never ever done anything but bring holiday cheer, passion for humankind, and tons of enjoyable.
